Today is the second day of EBWT participating on Wellington to Auckland bike challenge. I’m not the only electric cyclist, we are two, and the other one got a 50km/h bike! So no way to compete against him or any of the other cyclist with their 7kg bike. I managed to pedal hard on the flat being able to keep 35km/h for several Km (my bike weights 22kg), and also down hill up to 60km/h. But is impossible to beat this professional cyclist with Denisa. But I’m happy, Denisa performed well and myself too!
I’m 1 hour and something behind the leader on the overall classification, and 42 min behind the other e-cyclist. But don’t worry, I’m having real fun, and with some more big hills stages, I’ll do my best to keep going up on the classification.
